The Capital Area Legal Writing Conference
Hosted by the George Washington University Law School
February 25 – 26, 2011
The First Annual Capital Area Legal Writing Conference will be held at the George Washington University Law School on February 25-26, 2011. We invite legal writing professionals from across the country to attend!
Please note that all conference attendees must register through this site, regardless whether they plan to submit a proposal to present at the conference.
The deadline to register for the conference is Saturday, January 15, 2011.
Conference Hotel Information
OVERVIEW
We have negotiated a conference rate for a block of rooms at two boutique hotels within walking distance to both the GW Law School and major public transportation options. To take advantage of the conference rates, you must make your reservation on or before January 20, 2011. Rooms are limited; once the block is full for each hotel the conference rate may no longer apply.
HOTELS
The hotels are One Washington Circle Hotel (www.thecirclehotel.com) and The George Washington University Inn (www.gwuinn.com).
RATES
The rates are the same at both hotels. Specifically, reservations may be made at the group rate for any number of nights between Wednesday, February 23rd and Saturday, February 26th (with a checkout on Sunday the 27th).
Weekday rates for Wednesday and Thursday nights are $199/night.
Weekend rates for Friday and Saturday night are $119/night.
Prices do not include a 14.5% sales tax. Additional guests will be charged $20/night.
